Growing up in Thailand, I learned how much texture and flavor Asian cooking can hold. After moving to the U.S., I found an even wider world of food—but not always the Asian pantry blends I wanted in my own kitchen.
Our family has milled rice since 1987. That foundation taught me that the finished bite is shaped long before cooking: by how grain is handled, milled, balanced, and prepared. Grainify brings that knowledge into three foods I kept reaching for—tempura, mochi pancakes, and kuzukiri.
I didn't want to build products around compromise. I wanted a thin tempura shell that shatters, mochi pancakes with crisp edges and a tender, springy center, and clear kuzukiri with a clean bounce. That is where our first collection began.
Crafted for the way we cook at home
Japanese food craft guides the techniques and textures we aim for. An American home-kitchen perspective shapes how the products work: clear directions, practical formats, and dependable results. We formulate each blend around the dish it needs to become—not around an aisle label.
What guides every Grainify blend
The story is personal. The standards are practical: the food has to prove them on the plate.
Gluten-free mastery is the result
Our first collection is gluten-free, but that is not where Grainify starts. It is what getting the blend right makes possible. The goal is not an alternative people settle for. It is food people choose because the texture is right.
